	Previously have stayed at two other hotels in vienna, one a 5 star, the other also a boutique hotel - both in or near the ring. das tyrol surpasses the above mentioned. we have plans to stay there next year.

	I thoroughly enjoyed my very short stay in vienna and my stay at your hotel. in particular, it was the welcome i received and the recommendations i was offered of what to do in a single evening, where to eat, and how to get around. one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at, and i intend to return again and again.

	Initially we were put into smoking room - very smelly. unfortunately nothing else available for our 1st night, but were moved with no problem at all to even nicer, non-smoking room the following morning. receptionist was very helpful with train bookings, etc.

	Mieux vaut réserver une chambre en bout de couloir et/ou à un étage élevé. les autres donnent sur une ruelle sombre et une façade noire.
